Postal Price Increase in the Works?

The USPS filed a price increase request with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) on July 6. Most of the changes are under a six percent increase, but that could still impact mailing budgets. Some products, like catalogs, could see their prices rise by 5.1%. Direct mail is still the most effective way to reach potential customers, (see Direct Mail Tops) but an increase in postage costs may give some marketers pause. The PRC has 90 days to make a final ruling; if they approve these price increases, how will it affect you?
